Description
Bawsey church ruin with ethereal sunlight coming through the ancient building. Landscape and cloudscape in a rural location in England.Ruined church of St. James, Bawsey, Norfolk, England was built in 1130 AD in the Norman period. It used to stand in the middle of a bustling village until the nasty landowner of the day decided to demolish all the houses to make way for new pastures for the sheep. The church was left but slowly its condition deteriorated. The remains stand on top of a high point with great views of the surrounding countryside.
